  1. This is probably accurate. I say probably bc I still can’t fully see the wiring but as someone who works on electronics for race cars and after performance builds, the wiring is usually a massive bottleneck. I just had a ford extra heavy duty put in on a car for this exact reason and it’s got an oem oem style plug. Have they addressed the big 3 upgrade ? Or wiring in general specifically in a video? I’m really curious to check it out. Bc now that you mention it, I’d be SHOCKED if they have the OEM part still there. I’ve never worked on a car off road that did lose sleep over sealing the alternator. Again I haven’t seen their harness or wiring but if it’s oem, does a body seal it? That’s a problem if not. In fact I know a couple fellas who carry spare alts for this exact reason off road haha imagine racing in the desert
