  1. Entertaining film. And another very entertaining critique! but yet another example of an old film getting nostalgic coddling. How a movie centered around bearer bonds with the motivation being “money” can be smart, is simply a reach. The bonds are a very clumsy, quintessential macguffin - & we all know how much the drinker loves those haha. I’ve seen you destroy films for doing something like ignoring what Nakatomi does as an entity. I mean, Gruber as an antagonist doesn’t know what Takagi even looks like. Mate, how? How is that possible? But regardless, you’re right it’s a Christmas movie. So I usually only give this a watch through my rose lenses. Thanks for your work and hope you can keep reviewing selfishly Through the holidays!
