  1. You’re king of pretending old dog shit films that get a modern remake were somehow not old dog shit films so when the remake comes out you could be knocked over with a feather it’s dog shit. I take it we’re about the same age born in the mid to late 80s but bc I don’t do this for a living I don’t have to act Carpenter’s The Thing was his gd vinegar stroke. Punching up is cool and edgy I get it but seriously you’re not often asking “why”? And you can’t see it’s bc someone bought the rights and did something, as you’ll likely say 3x minimum, uninspired for a cash grab? You’re just flummoxed by this choice, are you?
