  1. A pretty slept on genre for sure. Black Summer while being produced by The Asylum & being an American production does a surprisingly interesting job playing off these tropes - though I’m not sure they all qualify as such. Even better though you might consider Strangers From Hell. Christine Lee speaks only Korean in Black Summer but SFH fits closer to the sub genre being fully Korean. In all the ways I could describe it, I’m left with just one word: unsettling.
