Jacobs man that was brutal but just goes to show you that you have to show some signs of recovery by mid count - I get it he wants to maximize his time flat to get his bearings but he knows better. It’s a tough one bc the ref picks up the count so late due to Pirog getting to his corner slow but you can’t just lay there the ref needs to also protect you. Later as a veteran he’d never make that mistake.

  3. He’s pretty overrated by today’s standards. This comment proves it. Using a Jacobs fight he was clearly ahead and a questionable , albeit imo fair but questionable, stoppage and one dmitry hjnself literally says he wasn’t going to win it it went to points so he was glad he caught him. You’re using this fight to say how other top guys who had a different result means by implication dmitry could with Canelo or ggg. You’ve literally lost your mind if you think dmitry beats either of them. It’s possible he has his moments. .GGG stops dmitry early no question. He moves well but hes hittable. Clearly as seen here. Canelo dmitry would have been a good one . Canelo in him prime though just hits too hard . They both can both really slick when needed. I could see it being a razor close decision but Canelo catches him very late Id guess . Shane well never know.

He knew he was losing and knew over 12 round Jacobs would win on points. I swear To god you guys could literally have dmitry saying this and you’ll STILL say stuff you did. Jacobs was winning the fight haha where tf are you guys getting this nonsense from? Literally Jacobs was objectively winning by ringside and international official judges. He then knocks Jacobs out. What more do you want lol he was losing then he won . You have to also invent bs despite we in hindsight having the objective proof? If your problem is the international judging panel I mean sure I guess man but Emmanuel literally wouldn’t stop talking about Pirog. In a good way. I take it you don’t understand how American broadcast works. They have something called a “color commentator” which by broadcast rules is the subjective part and the official commentary team is the objective “balls and strikes” commentary. So if you heard the one guy talking Jacobs, that LITERALLY makes sense. Bc he was winning the fight. Then you heard manny who was official color commentary talking Pirog, that LITERALLY makes sense bc although Jacobs was scoring, he was struggling already with the movement. It was the same with GGG and Kell… Kell was doing well that fight but you just got the sense GGG was closing him down more often. Kell was scoring but GGG was hunting. That’s exactly what this was. Everything about the commentary was reflective of the fight. I don’t understand the complain unless you didn’t watch and only watched this highlight. Don’t disrespect your own self and speak wildly out of turn to get the info and then make a claim: there’s no way you feel it was biased. Manny is arguably the most respected trainer of the modern era and was praising every single round. What more do you want him to do jesus man haha.
