  1. ⁠​⁠ @andyelliott8027 Gerald was up on 2 of these cards. He just knocked Benn down AGAIN the round before the headbutts and rabbit punches when Gerald started just taking a knee out of no where. This after he literally knocked Nigel out of the gd ring in round 1. He was winning lol idk why Nigel wasn’t trouble Gerald any more than Julian did in the slightest. Julian hit much much harder than Nigel you’d have to be crazy to disagree and was tagging Gerald. There’s no doubt the multiple head butts and big rabbit punches affected Gerald. After Benn threw his shoulder into the last sequence cracking Gerald’s face he takes a knee again then one last time and blinks repeatedly then immediately stands up and walks to his corner he knows somewhere is very wrong. And even if you somehow doubt that Benn’s illegal blows were damaging as a wider narrative in terms of his health, there’s zero denying the headbutts that round atleast massively contributed to the fight . He was warned repeatedly. Yall gotta watch the fight before commenting it’ll create a more constructive debate about these legendary fighters. Fact is it’s flat out silly to suggest Nigel was overpowering him. There was never a punch that sent Gerald down. I repeat, Gerald knocked Nigel OUT of the ring. And then a punch flush sat him down later. If you want to say someone was out of their depth, it was Nigel. You can hear the commentary for yourself. It was a fantastic weight for Gerald and he planned to move up he already cleaned out middleweight. Commentators slowed down the replay broadcast and couldn’t find punches themselves. We know now of course but Gerald was comfortably ahead factoring in momentum
