  1. Canelo has never so much as wobbled. Bud has proven with all his skill he can still be dropped. He has to be flawless every second of the fight. It’s been done twice to Canelo. And the latter the benefit of the bigger man compensating for moments he didn’t have to technically perfect and had his own offense to make Saul think. Bud isn’t going to hurt Canelo like Bivol could. So he has to be Floyd level perfect. But this Canelo is a different beast entirely than what Floyd got. He’s daring to be great. I already rate Bud. But if he wins this, I don’t see how anyone could deny he’s a generational talent. Canelo has proven though for the first time really ever he couldn’t cut the ring off . Even vs Lara he cut the angles easily. Scull isn’t Rigo or anything. That does maybe hint at some opportunities for Bud who has the feet to cause problems for Canelo getting in and out for 12 rounds. I’d wager he’s going to destroy Bud’s body and hope a flooded basement lets him end it late likely losing on the cards. If Bud’s body holds up, he’ll be alright. But he’s the older man.
