  1. Russia tried this move and is tied to Ukraine continentally. There’s not even a maritime border that strategically separates the two states. There’s over 80km of shallow sea between Fujian and Taiwan. It’s not going to be easy for China, either and the Ukrainian debacle has taken Russia off of the field for a Long time. War is Hell. America has been there recently. China? You don’t know anything about it. The blood that remembers the warlord era and Mao is turning to dust by the second. Does China need Taiwan now? Or does one man, need Taiwan now? America is much smarter than it looks. None of this, will be easy.
