  1. The problem is thus, most people are simply to fucking stupid to be trusted with a firearm. If crime is down it is because crime has become less necessary for the disadvantaged to survive... That will change. Maybe I have a few heaters, maybe I don't. shrug However, if it were up to me, very few people would have these things; the modern caveat being that an increasingly militarized state is in the position to infringe the rights of its citizenry with brazen inhumanity, thus it can easily be argued that it is foolish not to be armed. Again here in the modern era we find yet another caveat, ROCKET LAUNCHING FLYING FUCKING ROBOTS aka Drones. The FAA has been instructed to allow tens of thousands of these devices to be loosed into US airspace, obviously most will not be armed... but they will all have cameras. If you think you can defend yourself against this juggernaut with a gun, you probably should not have one... because you clearly don't understand the situation. I am not saying firearms aren't very important to being a truly free agent, I am just saying most people cannot be Free for they simple have no idea how to be so.

  2. I had a gun in my fucking face, they told me to lean closer or else they would "... put an asshole where [my] nose is" it's not a terribly comfortable thing to think about. Notice how I have never advocated in any of my statements for an outright ban on firearms. I have merely conveyed the opinion that most people are idiots that don't look into things too much. You people can barely fucking read and you want to lecture me on how one should compose themselves with a deadly weapon. You're also running your mouths and essentially telling everybody that you have such a thing. If there ever was a reason to have a fucking machine gun at your disposal, it would be you lot.

First, thats a logical fallacy called false equivalence you should that up and second stupid children turn into stupid adults. This shouldn't be to hard to understand, but then again you did just compare driving a car to using a firearm so I am assuredly discoursing with a complete fool. Your Ford Focus is not a weapon by design.
