Were we watching the same video coming from Hong Kong when rioters who went crazy and started burning things and destroying property?? I guess you could say they were BLM/Antifa levels of 'peacefulness'. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

@emhgarlyyeung 'BLM protest, US police was on the wrong side, protester was the right one to start the protest, but also the rioter was going wrong to attack & looting shops.' BLM were WRONG to protest because their protests and anger are based on LIES. Look at the statistics and how few black people are killed by police and then compare that to how many black people are killed by other black people and then ask yourself which is the bigger problem?

If this was a Chinese company building this subway system it would probably have been built close to on time and perhaps even close to on budget. Its crazy to see the kind of megaprojects the Chinese have built in the last 10-20 years that would probably take decades to build for many other nations.

Vietnam definitely IS NOT an 'upper middle class' country. They'd be doing great if they were even a lower middle class country.

@johndoe-cd9vt This ceremony wasn't the best or the worst. It felt unique, but also too extreme in wokeness, diversity and inclusion and it didn't feel as grand as an Olympics game opening ceremony usually feels like.

@hoonkim1690 China is far from perfect, but I like that their government has a vision for their nation and is at least trying to improve the lives and standard of living of Chinese people. Can't say the same for places like the US or Canada where the corruption and greed is so deep that those nations are going downhill slowly but surely. Canada especially has gotten barebacked hard by Trudeau and the Liberals the past decade and the alternatives are just as bad. Don't think there's really hope for recovery for them unless some insane miracle happens.

I often ask that question when it comes to blacks and Muslims in western countries. :S

@noahsark884 The female inspector stopped the attacker because she had a gun and he had a knife and she had enough distance from him that she could fire before he could do her harm. In a hand to hand fight she would be done for. Also look at who were the first people to confront the attacker before police arrived? They were all males because in a dangerous situation its almost always the men who have to jump into action to deal with the situation outside of rare exceptions like this one where the female office had a gun and the attacker didn't.

Can't just blame Indian police and government only. Indian people have to want to behave more civilly, organized and peaceful too.

The thing is France already has many of its venues already built years ago for other events and they're reusing now so costs are lower. For example a big stadium didn't need to be built because they already had the Stade De France that was built for the 1998 World Cup.

With that many people around, I don't think any amount of security guards could control these crowds. The only way to control things would be to limit the number of people entering the stations so that it doesn't get overcrowded.
4
This is true. In order for nations to improve people have to be able to help each other and work together towards common goals. If people can't do this, then they will forever remain uncivilized and have low advancement.

The pandemic has already shown that despite huge reductions in human activity when countless millions of people were ordered to stay home, this reduced emissions only marginally. In otherwards even MASSIVE changes in how humans lived barely had any real effect on changing carbon and other emissions in any major way like you'd expect if human activity were indeed such a huge part of climate change. In short if shutting down so much of the world can only produce such minor effects, then perhaps climate change is largely out of the hands of human beings after all.

Men and women aren't equal no matter how hard some people may push that nonsense. Women and people in general need to learn to be aware of their surroundings more and to be prepared to react to random events such as these.

@CharlotteNCJack Hong Kong protesters have no one to blame but themselves for turning to violence and destruction to get what they want. If they had stayed peaceful with their protests China probably doesn't intervene like they are now, at least not for a while. Imagine if these protesters were committing acts of violence and destruction in your city not once or twice, but for weeks on end. Would you be OK with that and support them destroying your city?

@Danny2k34 Pretty dumb that a single mistake can possibly ruin your career in South Korea. At least in Hollywood they give people chances to continue their careers after mistakes if they're not too serious.

How come Vivian isn't sticking around for the closing ceremonies?

@Cal-j2o I wonder if they had a defibrillator machine in the arena that if they used it on him within a few minutes to try and get his heart beating again if he wouldn't have possibly survived?

@colibridor78 Its not just in America, but its largely in the US where most of these violent attacks are happening mostly being committed by one demographic. I live in Canada and there's been a rise in racism and hate against asians, but most of it hasn't turned into violence like this.

@Brian Garrow EVERYTHING is a major issue for local native groups. The same thing with native groups in Canada. Maybe they should all worry more about building a decent life for themselves than wasting time on issues like this.

@andmos1001 Democracy is horrible unless you impose some restrictions. If your only restrictions for allowing people to vote is citizenship and age, then democracy is awful. Can't have uneducated, low IQ and often tribal people who usually care about their own groups and no one else in the country voting for politicians who will make important decisions that affect the entire population. That kind of 'democracy' has destroyed a once great nation like Canada.

Communism can die in China, but not a central government. Democracy won't ever work in China as it would break up and destroy the country.

I think its going to take a while for them to go from 1.4 BILLION to zero anytime soon. I think they'll be fine.

@simp2234 The west doesn't have as much freedom as it use to have. Now you have to submit to the progressive, SJW movement or else you better stay quiet because they're not tolerant of different opinions and if you speak up you'll likely be cancelled.

Guy was going after women. And notice the color of the 5 women, too. While this might be true, its also true that most women are easy targets which is why so many were stabbed. Its quite possible that some of these females were not aware of their surroundings and others panicked and were unable to defend themselves or run away because they were deer in headlights frozen when they saw this guy coming towards them. Compare that to the men in some of these videos who either ran from the attacker or confronted him and he moved on to look for other people to stab.

Immigration IN VERY LIMITED NUMBERS from the right regions who aren't free loaders can benefit your nation. Immigration in massive numbers without a care in the world where they come from, if they'll benefit your nation or if they'll bring crime and violence to your society is a disaster. Just look at western Europe and North America and see why Japan and South Korea are so smart to be so restrictive about who they allow into their countries to live.

@huili3088 When I look at Hong Kong and Taiwan for that matter, I understand why China could never ruled be as a democracy. Without a strong hand guiding that nation, they would be in disarray with in fighting.

@wuhaninstituteofvirology5226 No different than Youtube or elsewhere when you criticise the wrong groups/demographics of people and get deleted.

@2piee The problem with your statement is that you'll likely be the same kind of person to complain that the government and authorities will be too harsh in implementing measures and force to keep people in line and to maintain public order. Some groups of people don't require too much force to keep in line while other groups of people require massive amounts of force and discipline to keep them from destroying civilized society. At this point in time, many Indian people seem to be leaning towards needing alot of work to keep them in line. The thing is parents need to raise their children to be decent human beings with morals, civility and values so that they grow up to be peaceful, law abiding people. Its pretty clear that not all Indian people are doing this otherwise they wouldn't be behaving like this on such a large scale. Look at Chinese people. Decades ago many were behaving like this as well where they were more out of control and less civilized. However between Chinese parents raising their children to be better people and their government taking harsher measures to maintain order and security in their society, look at the progress they've made now. China could not have advanced and progressed so much in the last 20-30 years if they continued to behave like Indians do.

@thisbarofswisstoblerone2101 You don't 'fight for independence' by going all BLM/Antifa and going violent and destroying things. I was with the Hong Kong protesters until that started happening on a large scale and then I saw them as nothing more as a violent, out of control mob that needs to be stomped out of existence to preserve property and civilized society.
1
But, but, but I was told be the media that these protests were all 'peaceful' and that it was always the fault of the police who assaulted those poor, innocent protesters?! 🤣 🤣 🤣

@gryphonennis1002 ' I'd rather take my chances in a locked room full of rabid wolves than be in china.' You wouldn't say that if you were forced to live in the worst parts of America. Go to this guy's channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/CharlieBo313/videos I bet you would easily choose to live in China than any place in those videos.

I've often wondered where China would be today if they didn't have Deng Xiaoping and where India would be today if they did have Deng Xiaoping.

@Is_mail22 What about the church stabbing in Sydney yesterday?

@osheenkelana Violent crimes even happen in Singapore (the safest country in the world) if you watch the Crime Watch series. I suppose we need to be more vigilant in the wake of a tragic event like this, look out for one another, try to make the world a better place and safer place for us all. The thing is there's extremely little violent crimes happening in places like Singapore compared to many western nations and that's why its shocking when you hear about it because its so rare. Compare that to where I live in Toronto, Canada where there's at least one shooting or stabbing or other violent crimes happening daily in this city and I can only dream of living in a place as safe and peaceful as Singapore.

Gong Li still an awesome, timeless beauty at 45! =) I don't know too much about her except that she's gorgeous and has awesome, rocking tits! :D

@watery2211 They're not wrong though. Far too many people aren't aware of what's happening around them and/or don't know how to react in a dangerous situation. This is especially true with females which is why in most cases its up to men to take action during dangerous situations with this female inspector who shot the attacker being a rare exception.

@ZX235w3 A number of Uyghers were committing terror attacks that killed hundreds of people just a few years ago. Notice how when China began cracking down on the terrorists that the attacks have now pretty much stopped? All the times I've heard western media talk about the Uyghers never once have I heard them say anything about these terror attacks that caused the Chinese government to take action. Maybe western nations can learn a thing or two about fighting terrorism in their countries from China.

Too bad the Democrat party got on the woke train and ruined themselves. It doesn't really help your chances to get elected when you constantly cater to minorities while always demonizing the majority population in the country. In any non-western nation it would NEVER be tolerated, but in the west its perfectly acceptable. Try going to an Islamic nation and insult and disparage them and see what would happen to you? In the west they just applaud you and pat your back for 'sticking it to the white man'.

@Priya Choudhary When some words or pictures offends you, you know there's something wrong with your vision.

So HK protesters are a little more 'nice' in picking what they want to destroy. How very considerate of them. LOL. Seriously these idiots pushed too far and they ended up shooting themselves in the foot. After that extradition bill was cancelled, they should've went home or at least continue to protest peacefully, but nope. Instead they went violent and destructive for months on end BLM/Antifa style and now they messed everything up for everyone in HK. These MORONS have no one to blame but themselves for China putting the boot to them now to bring back order and peace.
