@Estelle-f6s Asians aren't really naturally skinny, it's really because of poverty and extreme diets and environments in different countries. + beauty thin standards make it wrap together. I think generally speaking asian people are genetically predisposed to be on the thinner side and that for many if not most it takes eating a fair bit for them to become actually obese. Even asians living in western countries and having a more western diet don't seem to become extremely fat as a result. I've seen some asian people be on the chubby side, but it's probably a once in a blue moon event to see an actually grossly obese asian compared to say black people which is a much more common occurrence.

@gabrielhu6596 If you go out to eat much, plenty of asian food is pretty far from being fat free and healthy. Asian people seem to be genetically on the thin side and even asians living in the west aren't fat very often even with eating a more western diet. I think different people from different parts of the world have genetics in them that control how easy or hard it is for them to put on weight even when they eat the same amounts. Latinos, black and many white people seem to pack on the pounds pretty easily while asians and arabic people take more to get actually fat.
