@Furiends Funny how its mostly only black people who somehow think everything is racist and is against them while most every other minority group feels the opposite and they choose to work with what's been given to them and move their way up rather than complaining that they don't get enough. No wonder everywhere you go most non-black minorities make progress after a few years, while black people are forever stuck where they are decade after decade.

I think most reasonable people know why they didn't work. Lets just say if the majority population in these housing projects were Japanese, you'd have a thriving, lovely and safe community that people would be happy to call their home to this day.

Its a social experiment that western governments have implemented everywhere and the results are always the same. Certain demographics can't be peaceful and non-violent no matter what country they settle in, unless its in China and then they're very peaceful and law abiding. I wonder why? LOL

If those highrises don't fall down because they're poorly constructed, then things will be fine. Most asian people like living peacefully and helping each other out rather than murdering their own kind and destroying everything around them.

Its ALWAYS someone else's fault and not the people living there isn't it? I bet if you replaced all the people in these projects with Japanese people, today these same buildings would be thriving, peaceful and great places to live. The area would be properous and the streets safe and people would be wanting to move INTO the area instead of running away from it.

@AndroidsDontDance You do realize that Canada was created in 1867 right? That's 34 YEARS AFTER SLAVERY WAS ABOLISHED IN THE BRITISH EMPIRE. IE Canada was born LONG AFTER slavery was gone or mostly so in the British Empire. So how do you figure that Canada had black slaves in their history when they only came into existence AFTER slavery was abolished? And how come you fail to mention the Underground Railroad? You know that little part of history where Canada took in TENS OF THOUSANDS of escaping black slaves from America and gave them refuge here? Funny how you leave that part of Canada's history out because it GOES AGAINST your narrative that Canada is racist towards blacks. Nice job of not telling the complete truth and maybe YOU should educate your dumbass before trying to engage in a discussion on the topic. >_> And also please show me the proof that Canada was very racist towards black people when they were probably more racist towards Chinese people when they first arrived here and yet you don't see the Chinese holding an eternal grudge against Canada and Canadians. Chinese people chose to adapt to their new enviroment and work hard to improve and better themselves and that's exactly what happened through the decades. Blacks on the otherhand much like the Natives chose to bitch and moan and cry about everything while neglecting to raise their kids properly and now you understand why Chinese people in Canada are successful while blacks and Natives have high crime and violence rates and are doing the worst here. Maybe if these two groups spent less time whining about everything not going their way and more time on raising their kids right, working towards a strong family and a good community they'd be much better off than they are now. But that would require hard work which clearly many blacks and Natives aren't willing to put in.

@AndroidsDontDance First of did you not read your own link with regards to slavery in Canada? Any slaves that were on the North American continent on land that we now know as Canada HAPPENED BEFORE CANADA WAS CREATED. Slavery was abolished among British colonies in 1833 WHICH IS 34 YEARS BEFORE CANADA WAS BORN IN 1867. So how exactly were there slaves in 'Canada' when slavery ended long before Canada came into existence? Secondly there was no massive problem of racism against black people in Canada and you do know about the Underground Railroad where Canada took in hundreds of thousands of escaping slaves from America and allowed them to live freely here right? Does that sound like something a racist nation of people would do? Third black people in Canada have EXACTLY THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES to succeed as any other person in Canada does, but the difference is many blacks don't take advantage of those opportunities and instead turn to crime and violence. Blacks can't blame anyone but themselves for that and maybe if black parents did a better job of raising their kids right, perhaps they'd be better human beings that are more capable of being civilized and educated instead of turning into violent, criminal thugs far too often. Fourth I mention Chinese people because they're the predominate asian group in Canada, but ANY asian group in Canada are mostly hardworking and peaceful and don't cause anyone much trouble. The same can't be said for black people who are fucking up Toronto and pretty much everywhere else they live in Canada with their violence and crime. And YES IT DOES HAVE ENTIRELY to do with some people being able to adapt to their circumstances and othre groups of people being incapable of doing so. This is why asian people who move to ANY country are mostly doing well, while black people who move to ANY country mostly are doing poorly and even worse are turning the countries they settle into worst places than before they arrived.
