  1. Trump won because most GOP voters and undecideds liked him and they came out to vote for him. I don't think anyone had much energy or excitement for Harris and if the Dem leadership had taken the advice of holding a primary where other candidates could be considered and then voted on at the convention, they probably would've found this out before making her the nominee by default.

  3.  @petep.2092  A Dem primary would've allowed for at least a few candidates to be compared to Harris and if the Dem voters at the convention still thought Harris was the best person to go up against Trump they would've made it known with their votes. The Dem leadership didn't do that and instead moved quickly to make Harris their nominee so that she could become the first 'female of color president'.

  4.  @shafiumohammed1977  The west has shown that their goal was never to free the citizens of those countries but rather to get rid of the leaders that are against their interests. I truly hope Syria's fate is different The west DID free Iraqis and Libyans. They just assumed wrongly that they would then behave in a civilized manner and work together towards rebuilding their nations to become something better. Western politicians are too dumb and/or naive to realize that not everyone in the world is the same. Some groups of people in the world have a desire to create, build and improve the world. Others know only how to create chaos and to destroy. Unfortunately most Mideast and African populations fall under the latter category.

  5. 'Democracy' in its current form in most countries is a JOKE to begin with. Its a bad system that needs a complete overhaul or even gotten rid of entirely.
