Japan is THE most racist country on the planet. They're very nice and generous to foreigners, but they consider all gaijin (foreigners) to be less than their equals. They have a very insular and narcissistic society. I don't think many and probably most Japanese people think that they're superior to everyone else, but if we're being honest they really are in many ways. They've built probably the most civilized, peaceful, safe, clean society on the planet where crime and violence is as close to non-existent as you can get. Japanese people are productive and have created and continue to create great things that contribute to their society and to the rest of the world. The vast majority of their people are civilized, kind and non-violent. Seriously even if they did think they were a superior people, it would be hard to argue against that when you look at what's happening in many parts of the world and even in many western nations where we're willingly and purposely tearing down what made our countries once so great. The Japanese have seen what western countries are doing to themselves and they're smart enough to avoid doing the same to their own nation.
