As the video states, the attack helicopter's usefulness will come to an end much quicker than a tank will. Their capabilities can be more easily replaced by other systems than a tank's can. Personally if I were investing in helicopters, I'd rather invest in transport helis than attack ones. Much more utility and cheaper to buy and maintain.

@Gearparadummies Attack helicopters can be deployed anywhere and use terrain features to avoid being killed. What we're watching in Ukraine is a deficient use of air assets. Attack helis still have their uses, but they are a luxury item that gives a relative small bang for the buck when you look how much you have to spend on them to gain the benefits from having them. Maybe if you're the US and have a huge budget its worth buying them, but otherwise they would be at the absolute bottom of the list for me to purchase when there are weapons systems that can do so much more for the money.

@grahamstrouse1165 For sure. The cost vs benefit of attack helis isn't very good at all. Unless there are major advances that can increase survivability and keep maintenance to a manageable level, then its just better not to invest in them to begin with.
