You're seeing in Ukraine right now why autoloaders at least the ones that the Russians are using in their tanks isn't a good thing. How many countless Russian tanks have we seen have catastrophic explosions after getting hit with an ATGM or drone? Because the ammunition isn't properly protected and it ends up cooking off and destroying the tank and often its crew. With western tanks they have their ammunition properly stored in protective storage racks that prevent ammo from cooking off and hence its why its so rare to see western tanks completely destroy itself when its hit. Every Leopard and Abrams that's been knocked out in Ukraine still has its turret on the hull even when drones drop explosives inside the tank to finish it off. Also with regards to the loader getting tired, that's rarely going to happen. It almost never happens where you're going to need a person to constantly load shells for hours on end during a battle. Tank battles even if they happen rarely last for a very long time with no breaks in between. You probably shoot at a target every so often which gives the loader plenty of time to rest and recover and also one thing you don't mention is that with an extra crew member it means one extra person who can help you with maintaining the tank and keeping it running.
