It just has a much higher production failure rate, takes much longer to produce the numbers needed, and so costs a hell of a lot more to produce, and even then the chips themselves fail more often/sooner for the end user. If their failure rates is anywhere near as high as you say they are then how are they able to build 15+ million Mate 60 pros and counting for sale and millions more X5 Mate foldables with the same chip? Also something else to consider is that Huawei is making their own 5g modems while Apple is still buying Qualcomm 5g modems because they're unable to produce their own.

I'd say Apple is definitely very good when it comes to software and features, but they're definitely not superior when it comes to the hardware side of things or even build quality. Search for videos of the Mate 60 pro being punished with drop tests and see how their Kunlun glass on their screens are barely scratched even after being dropped from multiple heights and angles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ok4WJ7NeWlI Lets see the Iphone survive that kind of abuse with virtually no screen damage?

@s.v.2796 They are computers, banks, video players and gaming devices in one package. The standards of a 2023 phone are not the same as one from 2000. A phone with a camera that is always running, a battery that dies in a couple of hours, gets so hot it shuts down and overall cannot really do much is not worth the same price as a deluxe, fully functioning phone. You do realize that we're living in 2023 and not 2013 right? Namely the phones that were made in the last few years are more than powerful enough to run almost any app you can think of without much issues these days. Unless you're playing the most latest games on your phone there's nothing an S23 Ultra can do that an S21 Ultra can't do from a couple years back. This isn't a decade ago where each year or two brought significant increases in performance that vastly made new phones faster and more powerful. We've reached a point where chips are so powerful that you can skip several years or more without upgrading and be perfectly fine. The Mate 60 Pro's performance is about the same as the Snapdragon 888 which is a couple of generations behind the Gen 2 chip. So yeah the Mate 60 isn't the fastest, but its pretty damn far from being outdated and will run everything you can throw at it fine and take photos and video that's on par with the best that Samsung and Apple has to offer. So I don't get where you're coming from that this phone is outdated and is vastly inferior to other phones on the market.

@komlat253 "Picasso had a saying -- 'good artists copy; great artists steal' -- and we have always been shameless about stealing great ideas." Remember who said that? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
