There is a reason why Samsung developed the concept but they didn't commercialize it Because Samsung isn't able to make great foldables. It took them several generations to come out with better foldable phones while the Chinese brands have been leading the way in that part of the market for several years. If Huawei wasn't cut off by the US, they may very well be a major player in western nations right now and perhaps right up there with Samsung and Apple.

@CypherReaper Samsung may not have a tri folding screen out, but the Z-fold came out in 2019 and is on iteration 6 now. I have two coworkers and a friend that have had them for over 3 years with no issues, but some people are harder on phones then others I guess. Even Samsung's current foldable models look like crap in comparison to the Chinese brands which look so much better than Samsung has been able to come up with all these years.

@hyeong4893 What Samsung parts do Chinese phones have? Maybe display? Not sure about other parts. Most important part Huawei is missing is the Qualcomm chip which is the best Android chip available right now. Otherwise most everything else can be designed and produced in China.

@pedikun it's too small to be tablet and too big to be phone also very brittle that screen and hinges break a lot looking at Samsung A 10 inch screen unfolded is more than enough to use on the go and while its folded its smaller in size than the Iphone 16 Pro Max. Its certainly pricy, but that's how technology is when you're the first on the market of that design.
