  1. The US army is not setup to fight a Ukraine war. All of our heavy units in the 80s were retired and replaced by light forces fighting brush wars. The only thing we have availabe is first strike stealth and nuclear forces. 100% wrong. The US army has plenty of tanks, armored vehicles and other heavy weapons to wage a conventional war. Just because they've scaled down that capability in recent years doesn't mean they've gotten rid of it completely. If the US army was in Ukrainian army's place at the beginning of the invasion, the US would've curb stomped the Russians and pushed them out of the country before they made any significant gains at all. Could've probably secured the Donbas in a few days as well.
