  1. Unless the Russians invest much more of their military forces into Ukraine, there's no chance they will ever advance that far with the current forces that they have now. Russians right now have relatively little armored forces to push quickly into Ukraine these days because of all their early losses which is why they're now using artillery so much more along with infantry. As well HIMARS is already putting significant pressure on Russian logistics with how many supply dumps they're destroying along with other high value targets. I can't imagine the Russians being able to push even deeper into Ukraine and still being able to properly supply their forces with HIMARS continuing to pound their supply lines. Also if the US changes its mind and decides to supply Ukraine with ATACMS rockets then the Russians are going to be in real trouble because there will be no safe place for Russians anywhere in Ukraine any longer.
