@D PA Do you have any legit links that say that many Ukrainians have been killed in Izyum. All I ever see from pro-Russian supporters is them claiming neverending huge losses for the UA forces, but when asked to provide some links to support those claims THEY NEVER DO IT. So please provide links so people can see them if you believe what you claim is true?

@qman8816 They could have stayed and fought but that would guarantee a loss of men, instead they gave up territory that is not theirs... Lets be real if they Russians could've stayed and fought they would have. If they were making an 'orderly retreat' they wouldn't have left so many supplies and weapons systems for the UA forces to take over that they can then put some back into service for them to use. Be honest and ask yourself if it were the Russians who advanced westward at this pace and it was UA forces running and leaving equipment behind, I seriously doubt you would paint it as 'an orderly retreat', but as a massive Russian victory and it shows how UA forces are breaking and will eventually lose.

Its human nature to pick a side and support them. I don't know why you see it as a bad thing when its something that comes naturally to us. I'm sure everyone wants this war to end, but just that they want their side to be the winners or at less of a loser than their opponents.

@omnadrener1 Russia went for broke from day 1 of this invasion and it blew up in their faces. As long as the west keeps supplying Ukraine and they keep training Ukrainian soldiers, the Russians are screwed. If they didn't have nukes, no one in the west would be afraid of them by now because of how much of an utter failure the Russian forces have been. The nukes are the only thing keeping Russia relevant on the global stage the same way its only reason why anyone cares about North Korea.

@omnadrener1 If the Russians could've declared full mobilization with little consequences or backlash they would've done it long ago. The very fact that they can take so many hits on the battlefield and still refuse to do so is because THEY DON'T WANT TO. That would be a complete admission that this war is going very badly for them and that this operation that they told their people wasn't going to be a huge deal is now indeed a huge deal to the point that they need to throw much more if not all their men and resources at Ukrainians in order to defeat them. We're talking about a supposed superpower army here and they can't even beat a vastly worse equipped Ukrainian army with little airpower at the beginning of the invasion. Only has the war gone on have the Ukrainians gotten more support to now where they can face the Russians and hold their own against them.
