  1.  @jbgsaucefam704  You fail to mention that in 2014 there were 177 shootings for the entire year and since 2016 the city has been averaging 400+ shootings a year. And that doesn't include hundreds of stabbings, all the homeless living in Toronto's downtown parks and under the highway and all the mentally ill/drug/alcohol addicts who roam the streets and make the city a more violent and dangerous place to walk around. So yeah its not anywhere near as bad as most major US cities, but Toronto is definitely headed in the wrong direction when it comes to crime and violence compared to what it was 20-30 years ago.

  2. No part of Toronto is really a hood. Its certain people living there that make some parts of Toronto and its suburbs ghetto and dangerous.
