Can you say the same for the US? Also Australia took China like measures to try and control the spread of the virus. Good luck trying to implement such measures among 330 million Americans. If you want to live in a country where the government has so much control over its population and can take away people's freedoms whenever they want then go right ahead and move to Australia. I'd prefer to live in Japan where the government there is more sane and reasonable and has allowed their population to live largely normal lives throughout the entire pandemic with relative few restrictions or shutdowns. And a year later Japan is still sitting at 10,000 covid deaths over a population of 128 million people including 35 million seniors who are suppose to be the most at risk demographic to the virus.
