@Cliff Stokes A chance at seeing a doctor and getting SOME treatment rather than nothing. And at least if you have a medical emergency they will try and save your life and let you recover rather than letting you die.

@City Suede The majority of Canadians like their healthcare system. Of course its not perfect and it could certainly be more efficient alot of the time, but I don't think the overwhelming majority of Canadians would EVER want to switch over to the American system. I hate taxes, but I'd rather pay high taxes for healthcare when I need it than low taxes and worry if I can afford to pay for future medical care or have good enough insurance for it.

If you have money then you'll like American style and if you don't you'll like Canadian style. Canada's system isn't perfect, but I'll take that over American style anyday because I ain't rich.

If you're rich then the American system is better because you can pay for what you need and get it quickly. If you're not rich then the Canadian system is better because you're covered and you won't go broke getting treatment especially if its something ongoing like a long term disease. Sure it can sometimes take a while to get something done, but I'd rather have the Canadian system than the American one because like most people I'm not rich.

If Canada's system is so shit, then why are Americans coming over the border to buy their prescription drugs because they're much cheaper? Guess Canada is doing it wrong. 🤔 🤔
