This is why you need to declare a true war on the cartels with NO RESTRICTIONS. Drone strike every single cartel hideout. Bring in special forces and assasinate all the cartel leaders and have the police and miltary hunt down every cartel member until they become extinct. If memory serves, I read a story about several doctors sterilising native-Canadian women without their consent, just in the last couple of years too. It’s incredibly fucked up to hear that these things are still occurring in a wealthy, western country. That being said, this shouldn’t be happening anywhere, let alone Canada. I seriously doubt this has happened at any kind of scale and is simply just isolated cases. Also it doesn't seemed to have stopped native people from having babies since they have the highest birthrates in the entire country even beating immigrant birthrates. Violence against women is turning into an epidemic worldwide. More likely, it’s always been a profound and deeply-engrained issue, but it sadly hasn’t been receiving the attention that it deserves. This has been a native and certain groups of minority issue much more than it is for other groups of people. Its almost like when you bring in 3rd world people, they're not immediately going to be letting go of their 3rd world behaviors and this goes for crime and violence and other general bad behaviors that make Canada a worse country to live in. There’s literal genocide occurring in Sudan, and how often have we actually heard anything about that in the ‘mainstream media’? Sudan doesn't get much attention because this is just Africans doing African things. Namely almost every single predominately African nation has major problems and most are in some sort of conflict whether it be with other nations or with themselves. Most of Africa is just a massive tire fire that has been messed up for centuries and very little if anything will ever change on that continent because you have an entire race of people who aren't very bright, but are very violent and they can't ever stop fighting each other long enough to start working together to build something better for themselves. These same people behave the same way wherever they go especially in western nations where even given a great opportunity to build a better life for themselves they instead choose violence and crime and seem hellbent to wreck our nations and turn it into the same shitholes that they turned their homelands into.

Actually native people ARE NOT 'reduced' to living on reservations. Those that live there CHOOSE to live there because they like being on their own and living a more traditional life and not race mixing with other people. Just go lookup how native people really don't like it when native people marry non-native people.

Canadians love to criticize the US in how the country treats the black population but look at how First Nations people are treated in Canada. Sad. Why don't native people ever look at how they treat themselves? Take some responsibility for your actions and life decisions for once. I'm confident in saying that Canadian taxpayers could give native people a trillion dollars every year and it would make no difference because they would just piss it all away the same as they're doing with all the money they're given now. You know what native people could do to help themselves? Maybe spend less time protesting and complaining about everything under the sun and spend more time with your kids and raising them properly, keeping them out of trouble and getting them educated. That would help native communities much more in the long run than trying to squeeze more money out of Canadian taxpayers.

What's the point of negotiating a peace deal that won't be long term and will only result in future conflict like we've seen from 2014 to 2022 before the war began? The only way for true long term peace is for Ukraine to gain back a decent amount of its territory and more importantly be able to join NATO ASAP. As long as Ukraine isn't apart of NATO they will NEVER have true peace and security.

Canada has a dark history and our people are the ones who have to pay the price. Our lands stolen and we are persecuted for being the protector and rightful owners. How can 'your land' be stolen when its not even yours? Native people are also immigrants to North America so they don't own this land either, they just came here first before anyone else and that doesn't automatically mean you own it forever.

@Elcollpohorrible Again any so-called 'far right' related crimes are so relatively few that almost no one worries about them in their day to day lives. That's how little 'far right extremists' affect society on a daily basis. Compare that to huge amounts of crime that certain demographics of minorities commit and yeah I think anyone who watches the news daily knows which is the far, FAR bigger problem to their societies. I don't know where you live, but here in Toronto, Canada where I am we're averaging more than a shooting and/or stabbing every single day here and probably 99% of all these incidents involve the same couple of minority groups who commit so much crime and violence that the media and politicians refuse to even publicly identify the suspects unless they absolutely have to. In Canada the government until recently always refused to collect race based crime data because they already knew what the numbers would say and they were afraid how the Canadian public would feel about those few demographics of people who are causing all the problems. That's right our government is more worried about the backlash these communities who spawn tons of violent and criminal people might receive than they are of holding them accountable and getting them to clean their acts up and keeping the Canadian people safe.

@azaelia2000 If you watched the whole documentary it says the children about 150,000 were forcefully sent to "boarding schools" implemented by the govt to help them integrate into "white"culture where they (the boys) were abused and raped. You do realize that the government was trying to civilize and educate native children and in that time the best way to do it was to gather them together from all their small communities to a central location to give them the help that they needed. Heck if you look around the world places like China, India and many other countries still do this to this day where you bring kids in from remote communities to send them to schools to get them educated. Its interesting how so many Asian parents in these nations are DYING to get their kids into these schools so that they can get an education and have a chance at a better life while native people in Canada see getting an educated from a 'white school' as being so evil. I guess that's why asian people do so well when you give asians a chance they will take it and run with it while native people can be given tons of support and still fail and do so poorly.

How about acknoledging that 1) Parents of these violent kids need to do a better job of raising their children, 2) people need to fight back against the cartels all together as one and 3) many people are simply human trash that can never be helped and need to be eradicated at all costs.

@HelloTONNFT But people like the ammunition collector -- 100% hated Russians with all their soul and believe me, I feel with all my heart that he and people similar to him showed Nazism and Russophobia before military actions too. Maybe many Ukrainians would feel less 'Russophobia' if their neighbor didn't launch a full on invasion in an effort to take over their entire nation. That kind of thing has a tendency to turn people against you in a hurry. Each country primarily pursues only its geopolitical ambitions, hiding behind concern for its inhabitants. Ukraine's primary concern was to get away from Russia and its influence as quickly and as far away as possible and they aren't the only nation who's doing so. Perhaps if Russia treated its neighbors much better they wouldn't feel the need to run away from them the first chance they got. Heck if Russia treated the nations under their influence much better the USSR probably would still be alive today. The EU and NATO certainly aren't perfect organizations, but they work well enough that many nations want to eagerly join them rather than stay away from them. Both sides pursued a policy of escalating the conflict. Only the Russians escalated things towards war and then they went and crossed that line and actually launched an invasion. NO ONE pushed the Russians to take that drastic measure. Even when there was a threat of war, almost no one would've imagined that they would go all in and take the entirety of Ukraine rather than simply claiming the entirety of the Donbas. If the Russians had limited their invasion to just that objective they may well have gotten away with it the same as they got away with claiming Crimea. Instead they got overconfident and greedy and now the world has to suffer because of it.

@Pro Saboteur Can you name some of the countries where democracy exists and the people are happy with the results? I live in Canada and in the area I live in Toronto, you minus well not vote at all when as long as I've lived in my community no matter who I voted for its always been a Liberal party seat. Heck my entire province that has the most influence in every election almost always votes majority Liberal with only some exceptions throughtout the years. So what's the point of having the illusion that you have the 'choice' to vote for who you like when the results rarely if ever change? Maybe things are better in some other parts of the world, but in Canada the Liberal party doesn't even need the votes from the western part of the country to stay in power. If they win big in Ontario and in the eastern most provinces and do OK in Quebec, they're pretty much guaranteed to win at least a minority government. How is democracy 'working' when you can pretty much on election night look at how many seats a party has won in the east up to Ontario and if you did really well you can already go to sleep without caring how you did in the rest of the country? This is why 'democracy' in many cases is BULLSHIT and is just an illusion to make people believe that their opinions matter. In the end the party that gets in power will almost always work for the people who got them elected first and the rest of the country second.

@Pro Saboteur Yes Canada is mostly a 2 party system because the NDP is far too left for the majority of Canadians. That and the fact that they often choose bad leaders to head their party is why they've always remained in third place. Their current leader is bad and they talk far too much about race, LGBT and other social justice issues and most of their policies involve massive spending. Plenty of people would love many of the things they propose, but most have enough common sense to realize that we can't afford most of what they want to implement. Maybe if they pulled back from being such a SJW party with extreme leftist views I'd consider voting for them, but as they currently are I would never do so. I've voted for the Liberal party almost exclusively in all the elections I've voted, but even they are going too crazy for me to support anymore and now I really don't have a party that I really like and can get behind any longer. 'If democracy isn't the answer, then what is? It's not enough to say what you're against, tell me what you're for.' I know alot of people won't like it, but I think some form of central governing wouldn't be a bad thing. If you could get the right people in who care more about serving the majority of people, building a strong nation and economy and who cares less about stupid social justice issues and pandering to small segments of the population constantly, I think that would work much better than what we currently have here. Right now if you're not black, native, LGBT, female or a Quebecer you don't matter much in Canada. If you're a non Quebec cauasian or asian, your concerns pretty much take a backseat to the above listed groups. I guess that's what happens when you spend most of your time trying to build a decent life for yourself and your family and don't go out and protest and get angry over every little thing all the time and you end up getting ignored. This is why I wish we had a government that would work for the betterment of the majority of the population rather than pander to and bend the knee all the time to the demands of the angry minority. Canada has the capacity to accomplish so much, but its constantly stuck in dealing with social justice crap and trying to appease every angry small group of people who hold back progress that would benefit the entire nation. Say what you want about China and their human rights issues, but they wouldn't be the world power that they are today without a strong central government directing its nation and its people towards a common path. The most prosperous and productive times in the history of China has always been when it was united and ruled with a strong hand. Anytime China has had multiple leaders ruling pieces of their nation, its almost always been chaos and destruction. People keep talking about the CCP needing to fall and democracy to be implemented in China, but I think if that happened the country would once again fall into chaos and disarray. I guess that would be good for the world who doesn't want China to be even more powerful, but it wouldn't be good for the Chinese though.

There are some really dangerous people out there due to the governments neglect… The vast majority of dangerous people are native people and I don't know how they're 'neglected' when they're given hundreds of millions of Canadian taxpayer money every year and their corrupt leaders steal much of it and the rest is pissed away which is why native communities are mostly giant shitholes that never improve. If anything Native people should be given LESS funding and be forced to stand on their own and learn to be self-sufficient rather than relying on neverending handouts that just make them lazy.
