@Dylann121 It shouldn't require a hate group to use your American right to exercise self defense. Gun carrying citizens should be normalized. If you need to normalize gun carrying for citizens then something is massively wrong with your nation which is the case with the US these days. I wonder why Japanese people aren't demanding to be able to carry guns to feel safe in their country?

Get rid of a select few demographics of people and suddenly the US becomes much less violent and much more safer than it probably has been in its entire existence.

I knew at the beginning of the pandemic when governments and so many 'medical experts' started fearmongering that covid was some world ending level virus that many people in the world would be brainwashed into wearing masks, obsessively staying clean etc. and it would take a very long time to undo those habits even longer after the virus had died down. I suspect even years from now there will still be some people that will find it hard to ever stop wearing a mask in public.

@stringsixxx7684 Cmon now. Police in the US have their faults and they make mistakes, but they largely do a good job in keeping law and order. If you want to see what happens when police/security forces fail in keeping a society safe all you need to do is look at places like Mexico and much of South America and Africa.

Why are you saddened over the death of a career criminal even before this murder happened? Always found it interesting how black people and their supporters get angry over people with a history of criminal behavior getting executed.

Enough is enough. Let Haitians figure things out for themselves. I'm tired of these hypocrites constantly complaining about white people screwing them over and then complaining when white people don't come to their rescue. If they want to destroy themselves let them. If they suddenly grow up and start working together for the betterment of their country THEN maybe they deserve some help.

Also I agree there's racism, except we only talk about white on black racism and NEVER EVER black on non-black racism and especially black on asian violence, crime and racism. We live in an INSANE world today where if you're apart of certain demographics of people, all your bad behaviors will be excused and justified by other people. The same kind of behaviors that any other group of people would be criticised and held accountable for, there will be a neverending parade of people like YOU who will attempt to justify and explain why its OK for black people to behave the way that they do in a manner that you would NEVER EVER tolerate from other groups like white people. The west is THE ONLY PLACE where victims of racism, violence and crime mostly from one or two demographics of people are ALWAYS the ones who are criticised for speaking up while the perpetrators are ALWAYS being protected from criticism and accountability for their actions and words. Your comments above describes the sad outcome of redlining, segregation, poor education in those most marginalized communities I'm an American who's lived in Canada for half my life now and guess what? Canada NEVER had so called 'redlining', segregation, poor education for blacks, Jim Crow laws, lynching of blacks etc. Basically EVERYTHING that you use to excuse the behaviors of black people in the US NEVER EXISTED in Canada and yet black people here are STILL the most violent group of people here and it isn't even close. So please explain to me why black Canadians are just as violent, criminal and murderous as their counterparts in the US even though they have a vastly different history in Canada? Please explain why black immigrants who arrived to the US long after everything you mentioned are also so violent and criminal? What's the excuse for these newer black immigrants? Also you know what's interesting? Somali refugees arrived in Canada in large numbers in the late 80s/early 90s and even after living in a wealthy, safe country as Canada for 30+ years they're now more violent and criminal than ever. Compare that to the 70,000 Syrian refugees who arrived in Canada in 2016 because of the civil war in their country and guess what? Most are getting educated, working in jobs and are slowly integrating into the country and they commit extremely low amounts of violence and crime. Many Syrian refugees have accomplished more in their 6 years of settling in Canada than Somali refugees have accomplished in 30+ years of being here and they're doing it without all the crime and violence problems that the Somalis have. So can you explain why one group of refugees fleeing a war torn country can go to a western country and can settle and integrate and cause relatively little crime and violence and yet another group of refugees fleeing a war torn country decides to bring all their bad behaviors to their new home and cause neverending crime and violence problems for the nation who graciously took them in?

I wonder if Brooks felt the same terror that his girlfriend did when she was getting repeatedly stabbed by him to near death and being completely helpless to stop it? Only reason she's probably still alive is because good samaritans came to help her.

@byoshizaki1025 Correction Sweden now has a gang violence and crime problem when before they didn't because they imported the wrong kinds of people into their nation. Places like Japan and South Korea weren't stupid enough to believe that 'diversity was a strength' and instead chose to protect their population from the mass of migrants/refugees that many western countries love taking in.

More like its happening because the Mexican government is corrupt and incompetent and their security forces are compromised and too inept to deal with the cartels and their violence. Put these same cartels in the US and they would cease to exist in short order when the might of US security forces comes down on them.

@aqn619 Getting rid of the cartels in Mexico isn't about ending the supply of drugs or stopping people from taking them. Its about making Mexico safer so that the average Mexican doesn't have to live in constant fear for their lives or the lives of their families and friends. Getting rid of the cartels might reduce the drug supply abit, but someone else will always take their place and lets be real in that humans have been trying to find ways to get high and/or drunk since probably the beginning of time. In my opinion we should have programs in place to try and help people to end their addictions, BUT ALSO recognize that there's a certain percentage of addicts who are beyond help and that we should stop caring about them and let them live with the consequences of their actions. Namely if they can't stop then let them die and don't bother to save them. As for the jobs if the drug problem goes down, there will still be plenty of work for police forces when there's so much other crime and violence that needs to be dealt with so they'll just be redirected to fight those kinds of crimes.

I think these people should be forced to live in Haiti for a year to see how really lucky they are to live in western nations and maybe they'll stop tearing them down with their idiocy.

If those two black men actually cared about the lives of children from all races/ethnicities they would tackle the largest elephant in the room that's plaguing the entire country. Namely black crime and violence that runs rampant in every US city that has a significant population of them living there. Getting black violence and crime under control would save far more lives than trying to get rid of guns which will never happen anyways.
