@Rose-g If we mess up let us mess up , but don’t make it look like Europe was doing a great job by the Africans That's EXACTLY what happened in Zimbabwe when the government took away white farmer's prosperous lands and handed them to uneducated and inexperienced people and turned those lands to crap. Then instead of living with the consequences of their actions they went and BEGGED for those same white farmers to come back to fix their mistakes. Nothing ever changes in most of Africa. They take control and mess things up and then beg the world to help them fix things rather than adapting and learning to fix their own problems.

Turns out the white Rhodesians were right because the black majority DID NOT know how to build, maintain and govern a nation. All you did was gain your fake freedom while removing all the knowledgeable and skilled people who DID know how to run a country. You then replaced the governing white politicians with Mugabe who only enriched himself, his family and those closest to him while stunting the growth of the rest of the country and its people for almost four decades. If Rhodesia had been allowed to continue to be managed by the white population, it would probably be the wealthiest nation in Africa along with South Africa. And yes even the black population in Rhodesia would be doing much better off today because as they say 'the rising tide raises all ships' meaning as Rhodesia grew to become more prosperous, everyone would eventually benefit even those that were the poorest. Things like that take time and as we've seen everywhere in Africa and the rest of the world for that matter, most African people aren't very patient and want everything NOW. Doesn't matter if they have the skills and knowledge or not, they just want it ASAP which has ALWAYS been their downfall everywhere.

You kicked people out who loved their nation and wanted to build it to be a better place and then replaced them with violent, corrupt and ruthless leaders and tore everything down almost immediately after they removed the Rhodesian government. This is the African way. Fight for power, gain power and because they know nothing of building a country and serving the people and know everything about taking and keeping any wealth to themselves, eventually they will run everything into the ground.

@hannotn Why give people who are aren't very intelligent and are largely incapable of running a fruit stand let alone anything more complicated the right to vote and make decisions that affect an entire nation? Imagine if you had a 10 year old child and he constantly nagged and begged you to give him the keys to your car so that he could drive it. You keep telling him that he's too young and doesn't know how to drive and for him to wait a few years until he gets older. He doesn't care and keeps nagging and yelling at you until you finally give in and give him the keys and he goes out driving and ends up getting into an accident and gets himself killed. That's most African countries in a nutshell. They cry, yell and fight for power, they gain power, then destroy everything that was given to them.

Most of Sub-Sahara Africa was still stuck in the stone ages and if the world never arrived to Africa, almost all Africans would still be living in mudhuts and hunting with spears and bows in 2022. Say what you want about Africans being exploited by the Europeans and the rest of the world, but the reality is Africans wouldn't have advanced at all without outside help. The world pretty much dragged Africans into the 20th century by giving them thousands of years of knowledge, inventions, discoveries etc. that they've never had to work for and find out for themselves and that's the reason why Africa has been modernized and transformed in a few short decades which took much of the rest of the world centuries to do. Africans have had everything handed to them on a silver platter and they still can't take advantage of it and lift themselves up.

@thelegendofalltime9923 If they're going to overthrow the only smart people in the country and get rid of them, then maybe they should think about what they would do AFTER they overthrow those people before actually doing so. The problem with Africans is that they ALMOST NEVER think of the future and the consequences of their actions.

The funny thing is Zimbabwe government BEGGING white people to come back to manage the farms that were taken away from them years ago and then promptly turned to shit because the people who replaced them were completely incapable of farming and managing the land. 'We took your stuff, we mess it up and now we want you to come back and fix things'. This is the African way.

You're right its all the world's fault and NOT ONE BIT AFRICANS' FAULT. We should all leave and let the African people sink or swim on their own and stop meddling in their affairs and this includes the next time they have a massive famine or plague or bloody civil war. We should not come to their aid EVER AGAIN because they asked us not to. Let them figures it out for themselves just as they wanted.

They're already doing that now anyways and as we've seen in the UK, France and other western nations they're now declining and becoming more like failed African nations by the day.
