  1. The difference is that Russia has lost much more men and equipment in 2 years than the US and NATO have lost in all those years in Afghanistan by many times over.

  2. If we're talking artillery shells then there's still plenty of 155mm around that NATO and the US could send to Ukraine to fight Russia with. The only thing is that NATO countries don't want to send everything they have to Ukraine because they want to keep some shell reserves for themselves. If NATO had seriously gone all in at nearly the beginning of the war and had given Ukraine a large portion of their modern equipment and ammunition, this war might already be over by now.

  3. Call Boris Johnson, he told Zelenskyy to fight on, while he went back to England Better to fight than to become another puppet state like Belarus has become. At least now no matter how devastated their nation is, much of Ukraine will remain free and eventually be able to hopefully join NATO and finally gain long term peace and security for their country.

  4.  @johnfarray2821  the difference is that Russia is fighting NATO of 50 countries in urban areas while USA were fighting flipflop AK47 militia located in a middle of nowhere. NATO doesn't have 50 countries in it and not all members are hugely supporting Ukraine right now like the Hungarians. Also we already saw how the Russians did back in the day fighting the same goat herders and farmers and they still lost a ton more men and equipment than the Americans did. On the otherhand if the US were fighting against the Ukrainians they would've done what the Russians couldn't and actually destroy the Ukrainian armed forces in a matter of weeks if that and have conquered Kiev.
