Well if she consented then that changes things doesn't it? Maybe she didn't want people to know that she was into GBs and instead its easier to say she was a victim?

ImYourBigDaddY. Not true at all. Go to the Hockey Hall of Fame and look up the background of many if not most of the Hall of Fame players there and see how many of them come from a wealthy family. Many simply had hard working parents who saved up to pay for their son's hockey career the same way other parents saved up for their kid's university fund.

@zwicker5585 Women also get away with little to no repercussions for making false sexual assault claims as well. Just ask Chris Hardwick who almost had his career and life ruined because his ex-gf was a psycho who wanted revenge after he broke up with her.

@SharpShooterProductions What I don't understand is if she thought London police didn't take her case seriously and/or didn't do a proper investigation, then why didn't she take it to the media and blow it up back then? Could've taken this story to Rick Westhead or others in the media back then and made it public instead of waiting until now.

@daniel213141 So why didn't she take this story to the media back then and waited until now to do it if she thought London police didn't do a good job of investigating her case? Instead she seemed fine to take a payout to stay quiet before things changed and the story came out.

@daniel213141 Yes and if she thought the police didn't take her case seriously and do enough to investigate it properly then why didn't she take it to the media to get more attention on it then? Wonder why she took the payout instead?

@frankteddy8823 Not at all. If you can afford to save money to send your child to university, you can save money to help pay for your child's hockey or other sport career. Hockey isn't free, but you're crazy if you believe you have to be a millionaire to afford to pay for everything that's required to give your kid a chance to play seriously so that someday they may make the pros. Go look at the locations of many young hockey players to this day and see how many of them come from small towns, so unless there are tons of millionaires living in the countryside, then most probably come from regular families.
