@maryjeanjones7569 Not everything has to be about more infrastructure, but rather it can be about SMARTER infrastructure. Just the change from building most if not all future intersections to be roundabouts instead of using traffic lights could greatly help the flow of traffic especially in newer subdivisions that are constantly being built outside the GTA. When you have the space to build a proper roundabout there's no good reason not to especially when the traffic outside the GTA is often pretty sparse and yet you're still left sitting at a traffic light when there aren't any other vehicles around. Just simple changes like this could go a long way to improving traffic flow in and around Toronto/GTA and elsewhere.

The traffic light synchronization is something I've never understood why Toronto has never implemented on a large scale many years ago. Its a relatively easy system to implement that can significantly improve traffic flow all over the city and yet its never been put into place in the GTA for some reason. Between that and more roundabouts could really make a major difference, but our politicians and everyone else in charge don't seem to be competent enough to implement these things.
