@62Cristoforo All levels have politicians that are corrupt, its just a matter as to how many and to what degree.

@Kim-hs1ny Canada certainly wanted people to integrate more and become more Canadian 30-40 years ago than they do now.

I’m sure there’s a bit here and there, but nothing like third world countries in Asia and Africa Sure 3rd world countries have more corruption, but don't be naive and believe just because a place like Canada is a more modern country that it doesn't have huge amounts of corruption as well, just that its more well guarded and secretive and less obvious. People like Doug Ford are MASSIVELY corrupt which is why he has no problems spending 225+ million of taxpayer money to speed up the roll out of alcohol to convenience stores, supermarkets etc. when it was completely unnecessary, but he did it anyways because its good for private business. Same for the Ontario place deal with Therme which is heavily in favor of that business. Or trying to use greenbelt land for housing development for his land developer buddies and so on. I always find it so weird in our nation that there is such obvious corruption and people influencing our leaders and yet we're completely unable to do anything to hold them accountable by charging them with criminal offenses and throwing them in jail and our only recourse is to suffer until the next election and hope they get voted out.

Toronto needs more cops, not more higher paid cops. The problem is the current Toronto police force doesn't care about increasing the number of cops in the city. They only care about if their salaries keep going up. Heck even now when you try and reduce their overtime hours or stop them from doing stupid crap like being a traffic job so that they can go and fight crime, they get angry and pissed.
