Well if that's the case then why is Canada freaking out about it so much instead of just staying calm and telling the US that the effect on them will be negligible to our country because we have others we can sell our products to?

@lasrswordja I think making your closest physical neighbour your primary trading partner makes tons of sense when the closest nations to your East and West are located across several thousand kilometers of water. If you're separated by oceans, then isn't that what you have huge shipping ships for? Somehow places like China, Japan and South Korea are able to send their products around the world, but Canada has trouble doing the same? Perhaps our problem is all our horrible leaders that can't seem to expand our trade partners so that we don't have to rely on the US so much? I'm also willing to bet that no rational Canadian leader ever thought America would fall to fascism considering America's historic role in defeating Nazi Germany. Trump is horrible, but how exactly is he a fascist? He was elected by the American public because the Democratic party decided to be UNDEMOCRATIC in how it chose its presidential candidate who could have had a decent chance going up against Trump. Of all the candidates they had available they FORCED Harris to be the candidate and then she got smoked. Blame the Dems for Trump winning so easily and becoming president again.
