@fantasyguru26 Doesn't change the fact that if they really wanted to they could lower prices that may cut into their profits abit, but would still net them plenty of money regardless. Of course they would never do anything like that to help Canadians who buy their products because their shareholders would hate any decrease in profit even if its done for a good reason like helping Canadians lower their cost of living a little bit. This is why Canada is screwed. Its all about money here and few people or businesses ever wants to do anything for the greater good of this nation and its people. 'Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country' is 100% non-existent here.

@gaudisc8075 Yeah I'm sure Loblaws is in danger of closing down anytime soon. LOL.

@gaudisc8075 You do know that Loblaws has been making massive profits in recent years right? I don't think they're in any danger of going bankrupt anytime soon even if they used some of those profits to lower their food prices to help struggling Canadians who are their biggest customers. Instead they do the opposite because their shareholders demand neverending increases in profit much like Apple is making tens of billions every year and yet they still never lower the prices on their products much.
