@doktormcnasty Dude why not have the courage to acknowledge the plain facts? That the number of shootings, stabbings and other violent crimes have INCREASED, just that its only the same couple of demographics of people who are responsible for probably 90-95% of all these violent crimes. So while the majority of people in the GTA are peaceful, non-criminal and non-violent which makes the overall crime stats appear to go down, these certain demographics of people have actually gotten MORE violent and criminal in recent years. This is especially true with crimes being committed by under 18 year olds who we obviously know which demographic of people they almost always belong to, but refuse to name because that would be 'racist' to do so.

Its sad that this demographic of people will always get more angry over someone criticising and calling out their horrible and violent behaviors than they ever will be over the constant injuries and deaths of their children. If they actually cared about their kids, they would acknowledge their problems and have the courage to take drastic measures that would make a real difference in reducing crime and violence among their people.

Maybe they're just incapable of living peacefully in a modern, organized, civilized society where you have to follow laws and rules and respect authority figures and organizations.

@burnburn645 NO its not "the same as" those cities, thats such a wild exaggeration lol. I'm not saying that Toronto is anywhere near as bad as any major US city when it comes to crime and violence, but how can we not be worried when we're legitimately headed in that direction rather than having crime rates go down?? Things were NEVER this bad even 15-20 years ago let alone 20+ years ago. I'm not saying the 80s and 90s in the GTA were crime free times in this city, but we certainly didn't have this many shootings, stabbings and violent crimes happening all around our city and even into our suburbs. Places like Pickering, Oshawa, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan etc. were not very violent 20-30 years ago and now with changing demographics in those places the violence and crime rates have also gone up. So yes you're right its an exaggeration to compare Toronto with any American city when it comes to crime and violence, but guess what? With our ever increasing demographic change with not so nice people being imported here in ever larger numbers, we're headed in the wrong direction. Maybe our leaders should consider growing some balls and stop bringing in so many of these people into our nation while holding those groups of people accountable for what their kids do and get these crime and violence problems under control before its too late.

There is only one way to stop gun crime, and that is to put a serious effort at Canada’s border to prevent gun smuggling. Canada doesn't have a gun problem. It has a certain demographic problem where violence and crime is ALWAYS following them wherever they settle in the world in any significant numbers. Do you not find it interesting that places like Japan and South Korea who are almost completely devoid of these groups of people in their nations are also the most safest, peaceful countries on the planet?

Politicians would need to grow some balls first and not care about being called 'racist' in order actually do something about the crime and violence problems plaguing our nation. How can that ever happen when we're not even allowed to openly talk about the problem let alone do anything about it. The moment any politician or anyone else in power starts saying the truth, they'll likely be labeled racist, be cancelled and have their careers ruined. No one is willing to put their livelihoods on the line when they can potentially lose everything they worked for.
