  1.  @Liberal_From_Prairies689  "Tone down"? We have some of the tightest requirements for immigrants and students to maintain their eligibility to remain in Canada. If we have some of the 'tightest requirements for immigrants' then why did we allow 1+ MILLION foreigners into Canada for 2 YEARS STRAIGHT?? Did we miraculously find 2+ MILLION educated, skilled people to come live in Canada and contribute to this country or maybe, JUST MAYBE we just let anyone and everyone come here and now only after massive public outcry is our government forced to do something about it? Canada has let in probably the most immigrants/refugees/asylum seekers etc. on a per capita basis than any western country by a mile and Trudeau and the Libs would still be doing it if Canadians weren't complaining about it now. However since people are complaining, they'll 'graciously' cut back on the numbers slightly.
