@queenpinkysfamily1618 Has nothing to do with the breed of a dog it's the owner and lack of responsibility in training the dogs. Disagree. It has ALOT to do with the breed of the dog when if you tracked all the injuries and deaths caused by dogs, a large percentage if not the majority of these injuries and deaths are the fault of just a few breeds of dogs. There are tons of different breeds of dogs and I don't understand why some people are so hell bent on own dangerous breeds instead of taking a much more peaceful and less violent dog as a pet.

@queenpinkysfamily1618 Dogs are only dangerous if the owners are stupid and do not train properly. It is not about the dog, it is about the owner. Disagree. There are some dogs that are simply inherently more prone to violence and aggression than other dogs. Training a dog certainly helps, but you can't 100% guarantee that even a trained dog like a pitbull won't ever become aggressive and attack someone someday. Also with all the countless breeds of dogs out there, why do people insist on owning dogs of this kind that are even capable of causing serious damage or even death if they should ever lose control? You mentioned that when you were a kid that a shitsu attacked you and caused you injury. Well guess what? The chances of a shitsu causing serious damage or even killing someone who isn't a baby is pretty much nothing. Also you don't mention that if it were a larger more violent dog like a pitbull that had attacked you when you were a child that you could've suffered permanent injuries if not been outright killed.

@queenpinkysfamily1618 However, big dog breeds are actually more emotionally stable, well-mannered, and child-friendly than smaller breeds like chihuahuas Doesn't that depend on the breed of the dog? I'm pretty sure no one is going to believe that pitbulls are more 'emotionally stable, well mannered and child friendly' when they're among the top if not the top breeds of dogs to seriously injure if not kill people over the years. Also you don't mention that big dogs will always have the ability to do much more damage to people compared to chihuahuas or some other small dog. You can't tell me that if you were able to choose which breed of dog to attack you that you'd choose a pitbull over a shih tzu or something. Why? Because you know which one can do potentially life altering damage to you compared to the other which might give you a few bites and bruises at best.

@queenpinkysfamily1618 Everything I gave you is all scientific studies from professionals. Not my opinion professionals opinion Late to reply since I just saw your post, but all these 'scientific studies' mean nothing when reality shows things to be completely different. Do you agree or disagree that many people are getting seriously injured or even killed by certain breeds of dogs? That's ALL that matters at the end of the day when people just want these attacks that are life altering or even kill people to stop. Ask yourself why we've never had to make excuses for cats killing or seriously injuring people? Because surprise, surprise its never happened or if it ever did it was a once in a blue moon event. The point is no one is making excuses for cats harming people because it never happens, but why do people keep making excuses for certain breeds of dogs everytime they show up in the news for harming people or other pets? Time to stop making excuses and time to crack down and get rid of them and severely prosecute owners who insist on having them for pets.

@chrismathers8223 Different breeds of dogs often have different personalities and its pretty clear that some breeds are much more dangerous and aggressive than other breeds are. The thing is if a small or medium sized dog is aggressive and dangerous they will cause much less damage than if the dog is bigger and more powerful. Are you going to deny that out of all the dog attacks that have caused serious injury or even death to people over the years that a disproportionate amount haven't involved a few breeds over the many other breeds of dogs out there?
