There's never enough money around for the things that we need and always enough money around for the things that we don't need, don't care about and doesn't matter to the vast majority of people.

@Ramiro-Agarra-Luquivenga When it comes to matters like these why should city council make these kinds of decisions that affect the public spaces that we all share? People in the city were NEVER ASKED about any of these name changes and yet we're forced to accept them anyways. How undemocratic is that where a select few get to make these kinds of decisions while the general public has to just take it with a smile while they feel completely helpless in stopping this?

@professorwoland3181 I think 2010 when Team Canada won the gold medal in men's hockey at the Vancouver Olympics was the peak of Canadian unity in recent memory where the entire nation erupted in celebration AS ONE PEOPLE. Whether you lived in BC or Nova Scotia and everywhere in between, it felt like for a brief moment we all put aside our differences and came together as CANADIANS to celebrate this great victory for Canada. I never felt so proud to be Canadian and apart of this nation as I did right then brimming with national pride while singing the national anthem. Ever since then it seemed to me that the people in this country have increasingly become more divided and balkanized because of SJWs, politicians and the media pulling the people of this nation apart. And then Trudeau came along and took all that into overdrive.

@SamsungS23-eb7fn Toronto certainly is trying its best to become San Francisco North with their crappy ass woke agenda and CONSTANTLY bending the knee and kissing SJW ASS like there's no tomorrow and making this city an increasingly shittier place to live in. In this country if you're not angry, loud and become militant in pushing your views you get completely ignored. The vast majority of Canadians just want to live in peace without all these meaningless SJW issues affecting their lives and they get constantly punished for being the silent majority.

This is what I have come to expect from a a non assimilated immigrant mayor or someone of a non white cultural background to lead the charge to do. While I agree with what you're saying about immigrants coming to Canada and changing it to suit their desires rather than adapting and integrating into the country, with regards to this whole Dundas renaming mess it all falls on John Tory who's very white and is a native born Torontonian. In the aftermath of all the George Floyd mess that had happened in the US, Tory took it upon himself to champion renaming Dundas street after some RANDOM SJW put up an ONLINE petition to change the Dundas name and gathered 14,000 ONLINE signatures. This guy didn't even go out and gather REAL signatures from actual Torontonians. All he did was put up a random ass petition, got 14,000 people from around the world to 'sign' it and then he took it to city hall and Tory jumped on it and pushed it through along with most of the rest of city council. That's how all this crap started when the guy who created the petition pushed it at the right time when many western countries were trying to fight real and imagined 'racism and intolerance' towards black people to keep them happy and I guess to Tory this Dundas name change seemed like a great way to appease black people.

@kkmik5933 Toronto is trying so hard to become San Francisco North with its unwillingness to hold a demographic of people accountable for all the violent crimes that they commit on a daily basis and their general leniency towards crime and violence in general. Then you add the increasing number of homeless people, the neverending flow of immigrants and refugees coming into the city that we can't afford to support and all the ever increasing SJW people who have infected Toronto and most of the people working at city hall and yeah this city has become a shell of its former self.
