@Ont785 Zelensky has thanked the US and NATO a billion times by now so to say he and the Ukrainian people aren't grateful is dumb. Also Its still funny to me that Trump is complaining about 350 billion spent on this war when the US spent 2 TRILLION and lost several thousand troops and had nothing to show for in Afghanistan. If the US and NATO had spent more in the beginning of the war, it wouldn't have lasted this long and the outcome for Ukraine would've been so much better.

@doctorfoti Do you have a link that shows Ukraine had 2000+ tanks at the beginning of the invasion? I'd really like to see it. Also I don't see how we're using the Ukrainians as 'pawns' when they're the ones that were invaded and are asking the world for help to fight the invading Russians rather than surrendering. Small problem though...we totally miscalculated in our hubris, the Russians adaptability and agility to overcome anything we throw at them The Russian answer to all their incompetence and ineptness is to throw mass waves of poor Russians to their deaths and to then draft more of them. 'Partial mobilization' has now turned into yet another wave of 500k mobilization to come. You're not putting nearly 1 million men into Ukraine unless things have gone very badly for you and your invasion.

@icankillbugs Russians aren't a race of people though. Also are you saying you're supporting a country that's started the first major land war in Europe since WWII that's killed hundreds of thousands and will kill hundreds of thousands more?

@TheInfurnos It matters because it'll make arms dealers money clearing off old stock, as for impact it will prolong the war costing some Russian lives and many Ukrainian ones , but will not change the outcome one bit. The outcome of the war has already been decided as far as Ukraine remaining an independent country that's free from the shackles of Russia. The best Russia can hope for now is to hold onto everything they've taken because they're not going to gain much more. If the west were serious about helping Ukraine to kick Russia out as fast as possible it would send more western tanks, IFVs and even western aircraft to really push the Russians back.

@shawnscott9704 Lets be real. Pierre won't be much better. Canada is screwed. This nation needs a strong, intelligent, benevolent leader who puts the majority population's needs first and none of the leaders in this country are any of that.

The thing is old design Challenger 2s are still vastly better than the T-90s. The Russians have already lost some 40+ T-90s in Ukraine so far and if I had a choice I'd take my chances of survival in a Challenger that was built to give a damn about protecting its crew than a T-90 that wasn't.
