You do realize that practically every major city in the world has cameras everywhere as well and not just in China right? And this doesn't even include nearly every single person carrying a camera in their pockets that can record everything around them as well. The only difference is that the Chinese actually look like they punish people for committing serious crimes while in western countries we instead coddle criminals and give them tons of chances to change their behaviors and far too many don't and become repeat offenders. Instead of cracking the whip and coming down hardcore on these repeat offenders, idiot progressives make neverending excuses for them especially if the offenders belong to certain demographics of 'marginalized, racialized' groups who are given a pass on their horrible behaviors all the time without ever holding them accountable for their actions. So I don't know why people are so hung up about security in China when there's the same amount of security and surveillance in western nations as well. The only difference is that western police forces often see the crimes and violence and don't do anything about it unless its really serious because there's so many criminal events that they can't keep up and so they only deal with the most serious cases. I'll take what China is doing to keep their crime and violence rates down if it means that all the violent and criminal human trash on the streets are not allowed to run wild to do what they like as they do in western nations.

If 'deprivation of freedom' includes clean streets that are free of homeless, drug/alcohol addicts, mentally ill people and violent criminals then HELL YEAH I'll take some loss of 'freedom' to live in a safe society where you don't have to worry about being a victim of crime everytime you walk out the door. Better that than to live in Murrica and all the crime infested and 3rd world looking areas that you wouldn't dare ever enter if you value your life and your property. How is that 'freedom' when you have to constantly look over your shoulder to make sure someone isn't going to cause you harm?

@vocassen While this is clearly a pretty good, neutral video, it is also true there is a lot of sponsored propaganda out there. Why would you ever fall for sponsored propaganda when there's so much information and videos on the internet that you can see for yourself as to how things really are in a country? No amount of propaganda can cover up all the limitless numbers of videos and even livestreams that people take of so many places in the world that shows you how it its really like to visit or live in a country.

@NepotismEnjoyer I would rather have a dictatorship that mostly has the desire to improve its nation and the quality of life for its population than a fake 'democracy' that does nothing but argue about every single decision or idea that one party or another makes and where things take forever to get fixed or built. I live in Canada and its so tiring and angering to see one party implement something after much opposition and discussion just to have a new party cancel that thing when they take power because they don't like what the previous party did and so any progress is destroyed and we're back to square one where nothing actually got done after so much time and money wasted. Give me single party rule as long as that party puts the right people in place who know what they're doing and let them guide a country towards one direction that will improve a nation and the quality of life for the majority of the population.

@british.propagandist.7 He has the right to criticise the sheer amount of CCTV cameras because it is kinda crazy they are everywhere. How come no one bats an eyelash over the fact that most every major western city is also filled with CCTV cameras everywhere? Seems weird that some people are concerned over the Chinese government watching over them, but aren't similarly concerned over western governments watching over them.

@ShalomReza No man, you just become poor because you lost all your neo-colonies, and people of these colonies are now taking back the crumbs of your theft. crumbs that yourself are fighting for today. I'm curious what African colonies did nations like Canada have? 🤔🤔 And yet guess what? Africans STILL come to Canada and wreck their country anyways because that's what Africans do despite welcoming you foolishly with open arms believing that you could be civilized and become like most other normal people. They were wrong and now they will have to pay for it with having these boat anchor people in their country forever.

@michaelpapadopoulos6054 Crime is VERY strongly correlated with inequality in a society. This is largely untrue at least when we're talking about violent crimes. Go look at the crime statistics in any western country and you'll quickly see that its the same couple of demographics overwhelmingly involved in crime and violence. When these demographics are violent and criminal in EVERY SINGLE NATION that they settle in significant numbers, then you know that it has very little to do with 'social inequality' and more to do with some demographics of people being very difficult if not impossible to civilize.

@cryptocsguy9282 The UK has more cameras & the crime rate is way worse That's because China is severely lacking in certain demographics of people that the UK actively imports into their nation by the boatload.

@ Unless you've been living under a rock and/or simply want to deny facts, statistics and reality in general, we all know which populations are the most problematic wherever they go. I'll never understand why people keep defending certain violent and destructive groups of people no matter how poorly they behave when they would NEVER do the same for most every other group of people doing those same bad things.

Theft in the west appears to come from individual Desperation because of deeply unfair societal structure Please stop trying to excuse violent and criminal behavior and blaming it all on poverty. Place the blame where its justified based on facts, statistics and the countless videos we see all over the internet. We need to stop blaming everything on poverty causing people to behave the way they do and start acknowledging that not every race/ethnic group of people on this planet are equal in nature and in intelligence. If we can't even admit to these problems publicly, we'll never be able to fix them because we'll forever tippy toe around the real issues we face just because we don't want to offend certain groups of people or be called 'racist' by them.

@cheungch1990 Western nations wouldn't be nearly as violent and crime ridden if it didn't import certain demographics of people from the most violent and dangerous regions of the world. That was their biggest mistake that can now never be undone.
