I thought the same thing. My mother is a music therapist and you would be amazed at the power and healing of music therapy. Completely non-verbal autistic boy, can sing but not talk. Singing taught him to say words. A man with dementia that couldn’t remember anyone, when his favorite jazz was playing he was able to sing and remember people. Someone who had horrific Tourette’s, the tics stopped completely as he played the guitar. Music therapy is the future and we need more of it. They need to include it as a basic therapy for everyone, instead of a lot of the worthless programs they offer with Medicaid.

How did you kick it? Or you on methadone or suboxone?

@GB-vp2io no one is asking for sympathy they are just asking for a program to get them off. People also don’t force people to eat junk food and get obese but they still have programs to help them don’t they?

@astronaut8086 That’s so dumb when people say you don’t die from withdrawals you die from this or that. IF YOU WEREN’T withdrawing your organs wouldn’t be shutting down so it literally is from the withdrawal....

Not true. It’s too late for a lot of dreams at many points of your life… I hate when people say it’s never too late.

Yeah, that program is garbage.... the hardest part is detoxing.

Film him!! I’m sorry but no... it’s not a couple of weeks it’s Months to years of being sick.

@getgggged123 it would just be nice if they had programs that were reasonably priced. And the problem is we don’t have insurance for people that do work but employers don’t offer insurance, for example someone who is self- employed, myself. Obamacare is garbage, I tried to do it but it wasn’t even worth the cost of it.

No, no you can’t. Unless you are rich or your family is rich.

Yes, thank god we keep people apart so they commit suicide, overdose, relapse, and get frostbite but it’s worth it because they didn’t catch a cold.

What about those of us who do lead a normal life and want to get clean? It’s harder because we can’t just stop everything to get sober. We have bills, a job, kids. There just isn’t programs!!! Unless you are rich, which blows my mind because where are all these rich addicts that keeps these places going??

No it can’t unless you are rich.

Yeah, there is no detox programs in my state. None... unless you have insane amounts of money.

@salmankaudur9290 that’s exactly why because we are too big, it doesn’t work. Unless like others said you want to be taxed to high hell.

That guy that said the withdrawal/detox is the easiest part is a total A HOLE. My god he’s ignorant, that is the hardest part.... that’s what makes people not able to stay sober or get sober. They don’t realize withdrawals do not last just a few days or weeks, they last MONTHS even years....The reason I could never stay clean was the physical withdrawals would NEVER FREAKING END!! I went 6 months and I was still sick and I couldn’t take it anymore. I needed to work, I couldn’t just sit around sick anymore, I lost everything getting and being sober.....because of the withdrawals....

This documentary was awful. You pretty much told and showed us nothing of krokodil.... I wish I had the funds, because I would make some kickass documentaries.
