  3.  @peppersghosttheater  Sweetheart, we cant get services WITH the taxes! One thing he failed to mention is fees! The back door tax. So after we pay taxes, there are endless fees to pay along with it! A lot of the taxes we pay actually pay for benefits for the public sector, not actually for services. The affordable care act actually costs money now. it was free upon initial release, but its not better, medical service providers are reluctant to take it(like the state systems before it) The price of my health insurance makes it extremely expensive to employ me for my employer, incentivizing them to outsource or automate. yes, we are not as far along the social democratic road as europe, but the left wing is hellbent on getting us there! the ridiculous military spending is done without consent of the citizens. Everytime we try to push back against that, we 'magically' are attacked to keep us consenting to heavy military spending.

  6.  @coolioso808  This isnt capitalism, though. The governments have a lot of restraint on BIG corporations. We can see this through all the social policies they are pushing through. Stop blaming capitalism for EVERYTHING, like its the bogeyman! The UN & WEF set international policy, and all nations comply with it.

  7.  @ab8588  Dont be a clown. They put VAT taxes on EVERYTHING, and ALL those taxes get passed on to the END CONSUMER! What is the tax on the alcohol for any way? Why does the government need ALL that money for? Whenever they have a windfall, they NEVER give it back! They always invent a NEW program to spend the money on.
