@palasta Never heard of it in the US. They didnt even try to make an American version, that I am aware of? Maybe the race issue was too touchy for us?

That wasnt similar at ALL to what they are talking about! Ask your mom & sister about Hermann Wouk's "Winds of War' . That was a VERY popular mini-series in the early 1980's.
