I find a lot of inconsistences here. As in History books the Romans invaded and ruled Spain in 206 BC, it was the Romans who bought with them Olive trees and planted them in Spain, and showed them how to produce olive oil, because that is what Romans, who were Italians, ate.
The Romans also introduced and developed aqueducts, water systems, irrigation and farming techniques to Spain which was called Hispania. Romans also used ground flour and water wheels. In 1711 a Muslim Moorish army invaded and colonised Spain, Southern Europe, as the Roman Empire was fading, the Muslims saw an opportunity to take the Roman Empires lands, for their Muslim Empire. They were not peaceful invaders, wars were fought, people were killed.
After nearly 800yrs the Reconquista eventually got the Muslim invaders out, the Moors were North African Arabs, they were not indigenous Europeans.
The Moors also did night time raids on Britain and took Britons and sold them in Africa into the African slave trade. Over a million Europeans were enslaved by the Muslim Moors and Ottomans. They were anything but benign!
