@echelon2k8 We were all North Western Europeans and closely related, distant cousins, no inter breeding because we were the same species anyway North Western Europeans, mainly Scandinavian/Brittonic admixture.
The Danes were a North Germanic tribe inhabiting southern Scandinavia, including the area now comprising Denmark proper, northern and eastern England, and the Scanian provinces of modern-day southern Sweden, during the Nordic Iron Age and the Viking Age.
The Normans originated when a band of Norwegian Vikings led by the Dane Hrolf the Ganger (Rollo) settled in the region of the lower Seine River in the old area of Neustria, and were granted the county of Rouen.
The Jutes and Franks were Danish too from Saxony, so Germanic tribes were Scandinavians mainly.
People forget Britain is joined to Europe, it's underwater now, so our ancestors would have mixed in the past.
