Drought in India for the period 1870–2016.
We show that over this century and a half period, India experienced seven major drought periods (1876–1882, 1895–1900, 1908–1924, 1937–1945, 1982–1990, 1997–2004, and 2011–2015) based on severity-area-duration analysis of reconstructed soil moisture.
Look up on 'The sack of Delhi', the invasion of India by Nadir Shah, the Shah of Iran 1736–1747.
The Mughal Empire, experienced multiple invasions by the Afghans during the 18th century.
Oh but its all the British fault!
Point is the world is a different place today than it was in the past, enough of the anti-British rhetoric!
Are the colonist Americans going to pay reparations to the 56 million indigenous native Americans they killed to take their lands, gold, oil, food and animals? They slaughtered millions of Bison for just for their fur!
Are the Americans going to pay reparations for the millions of Africans they enslaved?
They tested nuclear bombs on their own soldiers, medicines too, many died from cancer and after effects.
Reparations for the Vietnamese killed, who just wanted independence from their French colonial rulers, who America supported with their army in the war.
The list could go on....
As the saying goes - 'Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones!'
