Russia wouldn’t have achieved anything without the sacrifice of British merchant sailors bringing all the war materials Russia needed that came from both Britain and America, it was a team effort! Plus if d-day didn’t happen the red army would have had millions of extra German soldiers to fight, again a team effort which Stalin agreed to, now don’t start talking about Russian casualties because more than half were down to Russian leadership and politics. I will also point out that at no time would any western nation ever invade Russia unprovoked in the 21st century. NATO would never be the aggressor. If what you’re saying about economics is true then why is there such a thing as a Russian billionaire?

@Самара Городок yes, Russia is supporting Scottish and Welsh independence, Russian warships and military aircraft have entered British territory constantly over the last few years, Russian spies have committed murder on British soil, Russian hackers have attacked British businesses and infrastructure. Ukraine is not part of Russia and cannot be compared to Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland at all. Russia invaded and colonised Ukraine at the end of WW2 they have no more claim to that country than Britain does to west Germany. This invasion and the murder of Ukrainian citizens is unjustified.
