They didnt just caught the Patriot/ S-300, they caught several NASAMS launchers with their radar, an Iris T launcher two or three Buks, and maybe another Patriot, just in the last week or so. Some are speculating Russians have deployed their S-70 stealth drones on these missions.

Germans actually had a better military plan in Kursk then what the Ukrainians have in Zaporozhia. They wanted to do a pincer movement there with two armies from the flanks, while Ukraine attacking a well fortified position frontally.

So they have an AWACS up there which locates the potential targets, they send some drones to check them, and the juicy ones get a warm welcome.

Lol NATO training is really weird. They dont even know how to make a trench anymore.

I dont think NATO actually wants to sustain this the way it is fought right now. Ukrainians had their chance to prove they are capable to cut through the land corridor, and to some extent failed. That means this war can drag on for a decade or more to acquire every single Ukrainian objective, and most of NATO is not interested in such a prolonged fight.

You can point two major battles, from the battle of Stalingrad from when on they were forced to retreat to Berlin, but the decisive one was the battle of Kursk, where they lost 80% of their panzers. At that point they simply didn't have enough armor to withstand the Soviets, and couldn't build a force strong enough to counter them.

Theres video evidence about all of them. The other Patriot is not entirely sure, since it the drone capured it while it parked into a building before the garage were bombed to dust, but its very likely its gone. @bloodgout

This statistics is utterly pointless. Most of european countries are sending aid to Ukraine through the EU, which by itself sends them 20 billion Euros monthly. If I calculate it up to 17 months that approx 300 billion dollars. Now how much did the US chip in?We can talk about European domestic interests, thats a valid point, if we are no longer in an alliance, then I guess we shouldnt care in Europe about your problems with China, its far away, and out of the zone of our interests.

European economy is no better shape at all. Majority of the countries are in recession. If we are realistic most of the sanctions will be lifted by the next year, and Ukrainian aid will be economic and military type.
1
Ok, but they are in a difficult situation, be patient with them.
1
Its more complicated than that. They arent supplied, they are on lend lease, which means they borrow equipment and money money, which actually they will never be able to pay back. So either the US is willing to write down that as loss, or push Ukraine into a debt trap for its entire existence.
1
@baneofbanes I assure you, that none of the Ukrainian rebuilding funds will go to pay for those equipment. They say they need 1 trillion Eur to rebuild, even if we can get that money, which is highly questionable, US wont profiteer on it, our first codition will be to the Ukraininans to write that debt off. We know full well, we will never see that money again, so thats the bare minimum no to increase the bill.

I think we can give time to the UAF to make something spectacular till the end of the year, but if it actually doesnt happen, then we have to think how to make this war sustainable on a long run.

Tokmak is a media show pushed to the average joe as a bait. It has no strategic value at all. This campaign only makes sense if it can reach the sea of Azov and cut the russian landbridge to the Crimea, everything falls short of it is considered as a failure, because it still gives the pussibility to the Russians to move supplies to Kherson and Crimea.

For sure quality of UAF and RUS declines over time. Remember they started this war with a professional army with years of training and experience and rotate in guys, who barely trained for months.
