Because Duleba doesnt speak about Ukraine at all. He speaks about Slovak internal politics, where there is the 600.000 ethnic hungarians, whom he wants to be silenced under the same nazi BS what he tries to use on the Ukraine case. He simply supports Ukraines illiberal policies, because thats exactly what Slovakia is doing to its minorities.

I really dont get it why do the Americans think that a country indeed does collapse from the lack of Starbucks coffees or McDonalds burgers.

Pascal, the whole Marshall plan for Europe after WWII was 62 billion USD in current rates, and Ukraine received somewhat 260 billion USD from its sponsors. Of course they want to maintain that.
8
Well they can make pitches but they wont enter ever. The thank you letters should be sent to Orban, who stands up to their blackmailing.

After the Finnish and Swedish NATO membership I wouldnt be suprised on anything. I dont have objections of having these countries in NATO, but there was no national debate about it, there was no referendum about it, they rushed it that it was done in 2 weeks, while countries like Macedonia had to wait for decades. It was a huge sham, I think there are actual Swedes and Finns who found this whole process insulting, that they have no word in it whatsoever.

In the Byzantine Empire, the emperor invited hostage princes for education, and learning the Byzantine policy and way of life, so when they became the kings of their nations they would be allies of the Empire. Americans are doing essentially the same with their thinktanks, and research grants, they made a loyal caste of leaders in Europe who are loyal to their foreign policy, and spread their viewpoints. No matter what Trum does this caste will be loyal to the doctrine they were taught and believe in.

EU on its core is an European peace project. Its fundamentally against its principle to give security to some country against another country, if there are such tensions exist, then Georgia is simply not qualified for membership.
3
Lol yeah the libs, the diehard fans of the idea that a drag queen can enter a school to spread his way of life are crying butthurt, when in the same school someone dares to speak in their mother tongue.

Where are these people from the US diplomatic corps? Americans have a diplomat with these skills like mr Freeman has, and they let that idiot Blinken running around? What happened to the US? Statemanship was a requirement in the good old times, at least they should hear out the people who know what they are doing, if they dont want to put them into leadership position. Clinton had such clout he even listened to Nixon, because he knew Nixon is a pretty damn great foreign policy tactician.
2
Well, not all of them.
2
Lol there was never ever a single war fought by a nuclear power, when they didnt considered to use nukes. Americans even wanted to hunt for bin Laden with nukes.
2
Lol if neocons would know that their origins can be traced back into Leon Trotsky, all of their founding fathers were actual trotskyists.
2
I find the Nagorno Karabah conflicts framing a little bit onesided. 800.000 Azeris were chased away by Armenians in 1991, entire cities were razed to the ground by them. Alyev has no hard time to fuel anti Armenian sentiments amongst these people. There are no good people on that conflict both sides just want to get rid of eachother.
1
I dont see it happening. Literally whats in any European country's interest to risk of its total destruction by giving security guarantees to Taiwan, South Korea or Japan? This world works on the quid pro quo basis.
1
NATO lost Ukraine the moment Biden retreated from Afghanistan. Seriously who would believe that they would send hundreds of thousands of soldiers to ukraine, if they couldnt afford to sustain 5000 in Afghanistan. From thet point on all their threats are empty, everyone knows they wont go to war.
1
Yeah dr Sachs, we know in Europe the Byzantine politics, we invented it. Giving money to the germanic tribes to fight for the Eastern Roman empire, maintaining a shiny military, while at the same time using the germanic armies to achieve real conquest, having their power elites's children educated in Constantinople in order to amuse them an make them allies.
1
Lol German car and spare parts export to Kyrgisistan is up by 5500% thats not a mistake , five thousand percent more than before the working sanctions. Which are working.
1
@barneyleseven2854 If we are talking about Donetsk and Lugansk, then this conflict was actually never over, just your news broadcasters didn't care about it. Putin sent in his troops to secure those regions once and for all, and Zelensky prepared for that move too, thatswhy his whole army camped there. Besides Ukraine is not a small state, and not a single nation state, even if it would like to be one, and the disrespect of its minorities comes with a pricetag to pay.
1
Lol Israelis dont want to live in a fortress. Thatswhy they keep their second passports. If they want to get into civilization they can always return to the place they came from.
1
Ukraine is scary for you? Russian minority in Estonia didnt received its citizenship for more than 20 years, and thats a NATO and an EU country, for whom we should wage war for in theory. The problem is that most western europeans know sht about Eastern Europe and how dangerous games are played there.
1
Russia cant get into a security agreement with the USA. Even if Biden would promise them something, that would be up on the table to be dishonoured by him, or his successors. Russia can in fact only negotiate with Ukraine, because they have the force to overpower them. And Urkaine cant join the EU. It is a least well known fact, but the EU has a similar mutual defense pact that NATO has, so the same problem stands that Europeans would have to send their armies to Ukraine.
1
Yeah, this "cowardly attacked" thing is actually the thing which was called the "red tail" in the communist era, you know you had to talk about western economics, but not to be suspicious in academic cycles for simping to the enemy, you had to write a chapter how western economies sucks and Marxism rules, but I though it had been died out already. I never thought I would relive those times.
1
Oh, dear yu are so naive. Why do you think these so called liberals support this in the west? You can guess they support it because they want to develop their crowd control weaponry in Israel and use them against their own citizens.Palestinians are labrats for weapons testing, American and European governments want to have to supress millions of people in their own lands.
1
They dont want to destroy the illusion that NATO actually exists. The problem is that the Americans are doing it.
1
Lol really artillery shells? Against a nuclear power? If European countries wouldnt be lackeys they would wipe their ases with the NPT. Noone dares to f around with a nuclear power, even the Ukes learned that lesson. Any dime not spent on proliferation is a dime stolen.
1
Reagan is your hero, seriously? He comitted more warcrimes under his tenure than the following 5 presidents combined...
1
As Mearsheimer put it, Poles had an excellent neutral buffer in Ukraine, but they pushed so far the anti Russian bs, that now they will likely have a russian neighbor.
1
Yeah, well Sweden and Ukraine are rejected bigtime. @garyddlewis3067
1
They wont understand it, they are slavs. Seriously I had this argument with a Slovak, that there were latin masses in her city's cathedral, and he asked me how would I feel, if we would have latin masses in our cathedrals. And he didnt believe that I responded that we are actually proud of a lot of people understands it, and they would be welcome to do slovak masses in our temples as well. They dont believe it, they are turbo nationalists by default. @neutralitystudies
1
Lol I thought EU is a peace project, and I dont hear anything else there recently than how to ramp up war production.
1
Europeans get your point Pascal, Americans dont get your point, and Europeans simply see them as the lesser evil. Which was a mistake, we should be able to say no to them.
1
I personally prefer actual competition in politics as well as in company culture, because competition is what evolves humanity. We dont need the Soviet union to live in it we need it so our elite is scared to death that we will make a Soviet union out of their country too if they dont deliver...
