  1. To combat climate change US EU and China has to cooperate. Which is impossible in the current cold war environment. To preserve Ukranie Europe needs to ramp up production, which is impossible with all the carbon taxes in place. So yes EU policies are contradicting to eachother, and we have to choose our priorities. BTW Inflation Reduction Act is the very same thing what China does when it subsidize their production, so we either forget about these tradewars, or start a majorone against the US, because they are stealing our industry.

  2. Lol its not great for consumers, since you are paying for the overcapacity in the fixed fees. Which will or will not result in negative energy pices, but investors win anyway.
