Democracy exports failed miserably wherever they were implemented. Now Ukraine is the next site of them which is disappearing in chaos. Problem is, that your media is rather lying to you about these places, don't understand basic realities, historical context and culture what shapes these people just give very crude digestable enemies. Putin is supported by the Russian population, because he made order after Yeltsin, who was the clear cut lackey of the west. He wins the elections democratically and clear cut. He is not afraid of losing a general election, he is actually afraid of a foreign organized coup, and Russians don"t care about the Khodorkovsky kind of people, because first of all, they are thieves, secondly, because they are on foreign paychecks, and Russians simply don't intend to walk back to the 90's.

@penshiproductionsvzw203 ICC is compromised of the world's international lawyers, or at least supposed to be. If there would be any political will for that, then they can find the ones who could form a correct jury. Also the world has enough power not just to put pressure on Serbia or Russia, it has enough power to put pressure on the US to extradite its criminals, if there is any political will to do that. Then they will understand that there is no such thing as "bening hegemon", and they are not above the law. Sure if Putin is guilty, then extradite him as well, on equal grounds. Thats an absolute must if someone thinks seriously this rule based world order, otherwise its just plain BS. And we have to be frank about the Ukrainians as well. European Comission was full of their nationalistic attrocities, and if the Americans wouldnt defended them they would be ostracized long ago because of their violations of basic human rights. Yes Putin has his sh.t too, that doesn't make Ukrainians innocent, especially, since they don't just do these things to Russians.

Thats the west's narrative. The reality is, that this is a civil war raging on since Nuland started the Maidan square coup in 14 where she overthrew the legal Ukrinian government, who did not want to do anything with NATO, and was neutral with a little bit of russian sympathy. Then Donetsk and Crimea claimed, that they did not vote for the puppet regime installed by the USA and started their separation. Russia as a guaranteur for russian minorities in Ukraine has had the USA puppet into the table, and they formed the Minsk accords, in accordance with the USA France and Germany, whereby they limited the heavy weaponry use in the Donbas, but as Merkel, and Hollande told it was just a deception, they wanted to arm Ukraine to the teeth to solve the Donbas conflict with a genocide. When Putin didn't see any other possibility he intervened. Today we see that the Donbas is the hardest battleground, thats because the core of the Ukrainian military was focused there ready to kill all the separatists before the war, while there was not a single ukrainian division in Kharkov oblast, which has the longest Russian Ukrainian border, which proves that their military actually wasn't prepping for a Russian invasion but a cleansing operation in Donetsk. This is a dirty story, with even dirtier tricks played by all sides. But western leaders are not idiots, they know exactly that they can't play these kind of games with a Great Power, they were gearing towards war for eight years.
